ok i just bought a 93 5.0 gt it needs a new clutch and im on budget wut is the strongest clutch i can get on a $400 budget excluding shipping?

Center Force duel friction. About $320.

centerforce or a stage 1 spec clutch. you dont need a very strong clutch if you're making stock power... just going to break things

im planning ahead im going for strongest cuz i dont plan on being at stock power for long and wont be driving all that much till after the mods all i got right now is a full exhaust

Any brand name company should be fine Ram, Exedy, Center Force, ACT, ETC.....The HD Ford Racing ones seem to be good.

If you go with a Ford Racing clutch, get the more expensive King Cobra unit. The HD one is cheaper, but the pedal is stiff as hell.

Maximum Motorsports sell various McLeod clutches - and basically you can't go wrong buying anything from MM.

I am going to replace my clutch (King Cobra) soon and I am torn between a McLeod from MM or a Centerforce dual friction.

thanks for the advice guys i settled for a spec stage 4 cant really beat a stage 4 for only $350

recently installed a centerforce dual friction. grabs like a mutha****er from 1st to 2nd & 2nd to 3rd.
