how much and where could i get a 03 cobra engine for my 03 mustang GT

karkraft.com has them, but there may be places that are cheaper.

Why not just build a forged 2V motor, stage 3 port on the heads, bullitt intake, and a Vortech or Novi 2000?

Or if you're really looking to have roots blower do the same thing but without the bullitt intake and get a Kenne Bell.

ive seen them for ~5k on ebay..im sure you could get a good deal on a wrecked cobra..

now, I was researching building my own car and everything, and I looked EVERYWHERE.... I could not find one cheaper than $8000...


Where did you find one for $5000?

i saw it on ebay, it was like $5500 i think, it came out of a car from head on crash, from what he said, it was running last time he used it, but it had a cracked valve cover and waterpump i think..

oh, Im talking complete engine with harness and computer... fully running..

Id love to buy a 96 GT and put that in there.. longtubes, the basic bolt ons ( chip, pulley, cai, full exhaust ) and you'd have a 500 rwhp car.

im sure a replacement valve cover, wiring harness, ecu, and then you could pick up a tranny for a little more than $4-5k, so it is not a bad deal if you think about it..

for $8k, all ive seen is just the engine, accessories..no harness or ecu
