The purple notch with photoshop'd bumper looks strange...

So, whatcha think?? It's not installed...just put on the bumper. Forgive me for not "prepping" the shot like the last pic. Had to be somewhere so did this quick.

The hood is open by the way...so ignore the gap there

once you paint it and the saleen wing is off of your car its going to look like it was meant to be on there.

I think both look great, it's a tough call. Regardless it isn't "poser-ish" in my opinion to put the subtle cobra insert on a non-cobra so it's really a win-win situation.

Lets do this

hmm. I still like stock, your car just looks that good vs the insert but that's just me. I've been staring at the pics for a good amount of time and I just think the stock looks so much better. Man I hate making decisions.

Either way looks good

LS1 swap.

Oh, I mean... I think it would look really good with the grille insert. Like you said, it's pretty permanent though. I'd be 100% sure before I took a dremel to my bumper cover.

Don't do it. I have always thought the cobra grill looked bad with that tiny pony crammed in that little slot.

I have been thinking about removing mine from my 93 LX and smoothing out the opening.

On an LX, I'd leave it. On a GT I wouldn't. If anything I might try to come up with a way to replace the Ford logo w/the running pony and leave the rest as-is as much as I could.

I always look at these kinds of decisions with a "if I don't feel I must have it, then I don't need it" mindset.

I say yes. To hell with the "purists" and haters.. your car. Do it how you want it. I have an insert on a Salerno front end with a cobra rear out back. Looks good. Takes care of the two biggest issues I have with fox gt's. Large skirted rear, and a dull front
