Cobra, Saleen or Roush? Help me decide!

Okay, since I can't afford an '07 Cobra, I have to lower my horizons a bit and decide between these older, albeit still very awesome cars! If anybody has anything good or bad to say about any of these cars, I'd really appreciate it.

As it stands, I think I'm leaning towards an '04 Cobra...but not entirely decided yet.

Bring it on!!!

1. 2004 Cobra
2. 2002-03-04 Saleen SC
3. 2002 360R
4. 1997 Cobra with less than 25k mi (vortech)

The terminator is a nice car, but the Roush looks better IMO!

There's a guy around my area that has a black '98 cobra with a vortech.. man that car is SWEEEEET.. it's got Roush wheels and some other stuff..

how about a saleen cobra? although they are hard to find, it would be the best of both worlds!

I would jump on one in a second! However, as you so wisely pointed out, they are rare. Was there an '04 model? Who am I kidding? I could never afford one anyway! *smacks self*

I might agree, if it weren't for the ugly horizontal slits in the rear bumper of the Roush/GT's! Never liked that!

The only thing that worries me is the age of the car. It's only one year newer than my GT... At least an '04 still has some warranty left over...and I was just looking forward to having a newer car, you know? I've been driving my '96 for seven years! But that '97 is nice... LOL! The guy said he'd wait to sell it until I get home in a couple weeks to check the car out. Big chance I'd be taking to drive all the way to Wisconsin just to test drive ONE car... Anybody in the WI area?????

I bought my saleen in 02 when the terminator just came out.We didn't know how easily it was going to be to make such big HP. For the amount of money I have into mine I could have a 600-700 hp cobra.I love the looks of the car and haven't had the quality issues that people speak of but if I had known how easy it was to make that much power with the 03 cobra I would have went that route.Now I just have to sink more $$ into a forged motor and upgrade to the KB 2.2.The cobra is just a better platform to start with in my opinion.

Oh I see... The age old situation. That does suck though to sink thousands into a car you think is the biggest and baddest. Well, that is why I don't plan on making that mistake. The Cobra is the clear choice. Now I only have to pick a color!!

I would choose the Saleen for looks, SC power, and exclusivity but the cobra is a better power/dollar car.
