What modifications are needed? I want to buy a cobra tank and get the gt40 pumps, so I dont have to get the kb BAP. Who has does this? I dont understand why its not a plug and play. Does it come with a basket?
Just an FYI - I'm running 42# injectors with cobra tank and fuel pumps, and I have racing fuel lines from my P-51 - and I am maxing out the injectors and pumps the way it sits right now. I have to upgrade to 60# injectors AND a BAP to get the most out of the car. I tried to go the way of the GT, but I heard if you go with the cobra tank and don't use the cobra basket your asking for trouble with fuel slosh.
If you wantr to get the most out of the GT40 FPs you NEED to run dual FPDMs, that's what the Ford GTs do. Otherwise there is too much of a load on the single FPDM.
