Collectors Plates In Canada

Hey all,

I got collectors plates for my car today!!!
Many advantages to it cheaper insurances etc.The best part is that collectors plates attest to how good the overall condition of my car is.Iam
Curious though I am from Vancouver BC Canada is there similar collector's plates program's in other states and province's.

MA has them, but they are so restrictive it's not worth getting. Basically you are supposed to only drive the car to/from events that benefit the public (car shows, parades, etc) or for repair. No joy riding.

We can get cheaper collector insurance on regular plates, so I have Haggerty collector insurance on a Mustang- themed vanity plate.

Ya I just got Haggerty insurance today agreed value does not get better then that!

Florida has collector plates but must have no restrictions because I've seen them on some rolling junk piles.

We don't have that problem in MA because everything prior to 2001 has already rusted out and fallen apart from all the salt they dump on the roads here

CT. has them for cars over 20yrs. old, no restrictions as far as I know.
Cars aren't emissions exempt until 25yrs old, next year my 93 makes the cut !!!
