Stock engines do not have much benefit from aftermarket chips. They are a waste of time and money.

If you have an engine with lots of mods like high flow heads, hot cam, larger than stock injectors or pressurized induction, a custom Dyno tune chip is worthwhile investment. However, moving it from one car to another usually doesn't work well. Each car and engine is different enough so that one size fits all doesn't work.

I agree. If you are planning on some big mods keep it other wise you could probably get 100 - 200 bucks for it on Ebay
