Computer chips...?

I have been thinking a little about buying a new computer, but im not sure if i should. what experiences have you guys had with them and what do ya think? i hear that they make a huge difference, but id like to hear from you guys.

If your motors basically stock dont waste your money!

yeah, im pretty much stock right now, but after upgrades, are they worth it?

If you add boost yeah but other wise you dont need it.

Absolutely. There's not much it can do for you until that point.

We had a guy in our club who found ~40RWHP from a tune on his NA car once, but those are definitely not every day results!

the gains though are only a result of optimzing the A/F and timing...you can do it yourself and get fairly close if you're familiar with your car. The worse the general tune the car has when you arrive at the dynotune, the more power will be gained as a result of them correcting what was wrong...so big gains N/A usually mean you arrived at the dyno with a poorly tuned car.

Well I didn't actually explain why it's not a common occurance, but I just didn't want anyone to think I was talking about something different and then ask what I'm talking about
