I was in Tri Cities from Monday to Thursday visiting and helping some guys out. They've got some cool stuff at the dyno shop.

Mustang

Home Improvements Tool Time Nomad. The owner of the dyno shop bought the original Nomad from the show.

Random Drag car:

1st Gen Lightning:

383 stroker LT1:

It was weird with the dyno being uncovered outside! Here Jesus straps down and hit 575 rwhp w/out nitrous.

Paul Sr's old car with the 76mm made 613 rwhp on 16 psi.

These guys are the masters! Diesel Performance Unlimited.
This little Cummins ran 127mph in the 1/8th mile and just after that the turbo blew to pieces and coasted to a 9.6 @ 124mph. This thing is INSANE!

Yes Tim....FEAR the turbo:

Here's your competition (besides weight factor) Jesse. He ran 12.4 @ 118 mph. This is Jesus' Cadillac CTS V with a Magnacharger on it. It made 495 rwhp and 485 rwtq.

He runs 305 drag radials on it.

Even the rear brakes are HUGE.

Thats a pretty sweet CTS-V, its an LS1 right? (only the 06-07's have the LS2). Actually looked into one of those a while back but they were just to damn heavy, altough Im sure the blower takes care of much of that.

We will have to see what mine does once the headers, smaller pulley ,and meth do. I hoping I can put out as much as Jesus' Lightning did.

I didn't see that episoded, but it very well could have been. I don't think there is many out there doing that. They have been plagued with turbos breaking every time they run it. Now they have a turbo that should be unbreakable. E.T. should end up around 8.40 @ 160+.

Yeah, it could be LS1. I can't remember how long he has had it. It could be an '06. I'l have to see next time. We ran out of time or else I would have had some in car footage too. Yours will be sweet once all the other parts are on!

Kinda. "Sweeter" then.

Here is a video of that CTS-V. You can hear it through the first couple of gears. It sounds like a ported Eaton Cobra. Then he slows down due to watching his buddy behind him.

Has the CTS-V owner had rear-end issues? Even with the anti-wheel hop kits, people are still grenading them...especially those with power adders. I still can't believe they used the crappy CTS rear in those cars. They used enough Vette stuff on the cars, I am sure they wish they would have gone a step further and done a beefier IRS. Those warranty claims have eaten up a lot of their revenue. Sweet car, though!

No way! Keep roasting the tires and think about consequences later if they happen.

Glad to see others from this area have heard of the Tri. Just got back from there myself this morning. I tried to send a fellow stanger to Diesel Perf, although he refused to go there. His trip would have only been from Hermiston to Tri. Is that shop in Pasco?

What shop in Kennewick? I know exactly where Diesel PU is. I wasn't aware of the type of work they do, pretty cool.
