Is it true the Spark Plug issue has been fixed on all '08 models? And what is the stock rear gear for an '08 auto GT?

Yes the 08's built after 11/30/07 have the AB in the middle of the engine code on the drivers side valve cover. This denotes the new style head and better spark plug. All 08's come with a 3:31 rear gear as standard and on the manuals you can order 3:55's as an option.

Nope....sorry. I ordered mine in March and the 3:31's are standard on the standard tranny. The 3:55's are a $300 option on the window sticker. Its a $ 261 cost on the invoice. That's still way cheaper than you can have it done after the fact.

That was true in 05 & 06, but since 07 the 3.31's are standard across the board with 3.55's only optional on GT manuals. The 08 & 09 Bullitt GT's get 3.73's standard, however.
