I'm not sure these items qualify as "tech" per se-
Was trying to remove the crappy AIWA deck someone spliced into the Mach 460 (AHHHHHHHHHH) and ran into a snag... How do you take the center stack trim off?? I had it removed around the A/C vents, the HVAC controls, and it wouodn't budge at the radio. Stopped for fear of breaking stuff... I think the radio is cockblocking the works
My dad discovered that my X-pipe is leaking for sure- what sucks about it is the leak is "aimed" right at the floorboard, so it echoes off and that's all you hear in the car. Crack seems to have originated at a seam in the pipe (it's a BBK). Going to take it to a muffler shop and see if the crack can be welded closed. (The ol' man believes it can be done) All you hear is TICK TICK TICK and not Flowmaster 40 series... you know it's gotta be a LOUD leak to drown them out!
Also... my driver-side windshield wiper does not sit flush with the glass, the blade kind of "floats" 1/2" above the windshield surface. Any ideas?
