Nothing else new, waiting for my Heat Ext. Hood and CF splitter. Just curious if you guys think Black saleens would look better than the silvers?

I don't really like the black rims, black makes them look cheap in my opinion (and know what they say about opinions there like a$$holes everyone has one), but you do have one killer lookin stang

I have to agree. Don't care much for all black wheels on anything other than silver Mustangs. Now black wheels with a polished lip (chrome, aluminum, stainless, etc.) is a different story. They look great on almost all colors of Mustangs.

if you changed out your side stripes to black ones it might look better, but with the silver stripes, they wouldn't look right.

whats a CF splitter? EDIT: Nevermind, I'm dumb....

Nice car! I say stick with the silver, I don't think it'd look as good with the black wheels.

Which carbon fiber splitter are you getting. The only one I knew of was from Tim at Paper Flames Racing and he is no longer in business. I heard that he makes a few parts here and there but I can't confirm this.

I have an idea I working on for my car and I'm looking for carbon fiber splitters.

I like the silvers better. Black rims look good on a limited number of vehicles, namely silver, grey, sometimes orange colors. I've seen it pulled off on red ones rarely... tell your friend with the blue '03 to go chrome! Chrome and that sonic blue is a real eye catcher.

Why the splitter anyway? For cosmetics or function?

:OT:
Huh? I have a front fascia I want to get for my car (mine is too low to the ground at factory ride height and I want to lower the car) and I want to add my own "custom" touch to it to make it differet. I think it'll look great, but its a long ways off. I'm doing it for purely cosmetic reasons.

:OT: Yeah sorry about the off-topic-ness... it's always been my understanding that splitters are primarily used to divert airflow into front mounted intercoolers. Aside from the fact that they look cool. There are also supposedly aerodynamic benefits as well, which I don't know much about.

It's pics like those that make me anxious for my body kit this year

nice car, but I would go with chrome saleens over the black any day of the millennia.

Thanks for the words guys. I guess I will stick with the silver wheels, no chrome for me on my stang. Dont want the bling aspect.

Paul- Yes it is the PF Racing one. I have the PF Racing CF side mirrors and taillight bezels. He doesnt sell em anymore but maybe do a search in the Saleen sections and a member "marcus" can probably get you one. About $500 for the CF.

Thanks again.

I agree with Doug, dump the silvers and forget about the black, all that car is missing are some shiney wheels. BTW, that size are they?
