cracked tank... fluidine it is, but where? $$$?

So the plastic tank on my stocker radiator just sprung a leak, it's like a mini-gyser squirting hot fluid all over... anyways, i guess it's time for a fluidyne.

I'll search around for the size and such but anybody know where the cheapest ones are? and size if i can't find it?

also, any other mods associated while i'm doin this? fan, etc?

sn95stangman: suggusted FourValve.com which has it for $336 for 5speed, $355 for auto

maybe i jumped the gun on needing a post... but that's pretty steep pricing, are there any other, cheaper ones out there or just stick with fluidyne?

Got mine from Mustangs Unlimited for $349 or $369 cant remember exactly, was close to $400 with shipping.

just found one on hopupracing on sale for 322

there are other rad out there for a LOT cheaper, is there that big a difference, or step up with getting Fluidyne

i can get an oem with a lifetime warrenty for $120

thanks wystang and slvrbullitt302 for the help

but, if i can get an oem for 119 with a lifetime warrenty, why should i get a fluidyne for 300+ with a 1 year warranty??? i'm not currently having cooling issues with my 180 tstat and haven't...

Fluidyne is made to bolt right up to the factory mounts and all the fan and stuff bolt right up to it as well. Made a huge difference in coolin, I can be drivin down the interstate with a 180* tstat in and the temp never gets above 160* at highway speeds. In traffic it gets up to around 190*.

here are some pics of mine.

A Small 10" fan I added to cool down between rounds at the track.

I plan on getting that same one when the time comes. Summit part #SUM-380428 Size 28 x 19 x 3 1/2.

When did I suggest that?

A stock replacement should be good enough for now, but if you plan on heavily modifying it in the future, you are going to have to upgrade to a better radiator. Just something youre going to have to think about.

fix the leak and clean the rad with aluminum wheel cleaner..save some bucks
