I bought a Pro Chamber, sounded great, felt a definite difference. Then I do a 20 to 120 run one night and the thing starts rattling. Next thing I know the thing is coming apart. The welds are coming apart on the bottom of the chamber and then it starts to split down the sides. If this wasn't loud enough, the weld on the back of the chamber lets go. Nothing like having to drive the car with a gigantic exhaust leak and having it sound like I've stuffed a bunch of empty cans in there.

I get the shop I bought it from to get me another chamber from MAC, so I put it in yesterday morning. Then I decide to head out to the track last night. Makes 3 passes and the NEW chamber is making the same sounds as the 1st one did right before it started to split open. This is crap, now I get to try and either get my money back or a MAC H and some credit. This sux big time. MAC's quality is reaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyy dropping off big time.

You can see in the pic below where I had to have the first chamber welded up until the new one came in. The chamber was split open the exact length of the welds.

I did not like mine at all. The quality was fine with mine, but the sound was just too tame for me. I ran mine with the Spintech Prostreets and it was actually quite. I got rid of it and just put back my regular MAC o/r H-pipe. I never really had any trouble with MAC products. The H-pipe is over 2 years old with no problems. I also have the so-called CAI that is also 2 years old.(actually it should be hot air intake. The damn thing gets too freakin hot when the engine is running) The CAI intake are known for rust and blemishes and mine still shines like the day I mounted it. I clean and polish it about every month at least. Anyway sorry about your bad luck with the prochamber. You need to try and get your money back. I heard thou that their welds are horrible, definetly on their headers. I quess you just had some bad luck with their products. Good luck with the issue.

Same thing happened to me with my Prochamber...It was about a week old when it happened. Instead of the hassle of shipping and returning it, I had it welded and haven't had any problems yet. Should have just got a H-Pipe.
