I finally slapped it on yesterday morning. Install was pretty simple ( how-to also posted ) aside from the wiring harness used for the side markers and license plate lamp. That sucker is riveted on....

Now to get the front splitter, I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the CDC classic. Then some fat chrome torque thrusts all around, a little lower and the look will be done I think....

Definitely go to www.fordparts.com and give Ken a call. I ordered the CS Front and Rear. Total for both was under $400 plus shipping. Not a bad deal.

Ok I just got a call from my dealer saying he is having trouble getting just the CS rear cover because I don't have a CS car. How did your dealer get around this, or was it even a problem?

Too bad you couldn't order it from Fordparts.com for less than $200 and just get the insurance company to reimburse you. Then just have FordParts.com ship it to your body shop which I am assuming is your Ford dealer.

I work really well with my local Ford dealer, I do all their aftermarket work so I will get something out of this in the end. Afterall, I got my Cervini's hood, chin spoiler and ducktail with the hail damage I had last year. I had enough left over to get the WMS intake which works with the hood quite well I might add.

Do you drive your car in the rain? If so, how does that affect it since the air filter is right near the hood scoops?

Actually been caught in the rain twice and never had an issue. I do have some emergency magnets for the vents if needed. I simply wipe out the tray after washing the car and never been an issue.

Looked at your pics ShowYa06 and see that you have the honeycomb tail panel. It is supposed to be in the 70's later this week. I can finaly get mine put on. Maybe even get around to putting on the rocker panel stripes and GT/A badges as well

It wasn't even an issue.

I ordered mine from a dealership in Minnesota ( I'm in Texas ). I paid about 146 bucks and had Greyhound deliver it.

This was back around Christmas ( in fact, the bumper was a present, but I found the part/price ).

Look up Tousley Ford, ask for Steve.

Question on mounting the CS bumper on a Gt....

Hey man, thanks for the write up. Mine is being done now by a body shop. Have you had any problem with the issue you brought up below? I am installing the CS bumper on a non CS car, mines a standard GT.

Thanks.

Step 9:NOTE. The CS rear bumper's middle support is mounted differently on the car it was made for, If you are installing this on a non-CS Mustang, you may not be able to re-attach the middle support. Re-install tail lamps and inner panel. You are now finished. Enjoy the new look!
