I heared cali gets hit the hardest because of the mandatory additive they must have in their fuel. In San Diego its averaging 2.15 per gallon, which is ludacris. But the californian population also has one of the highest average income per household in the world. As a state, that fact is pretty staggering.

I live in canada (greater toronto area)
yesterday i paid 89 cents CDN per litre, which translates to...

1 US Gal = 3.79 Litres
=89 cents CDN * 3.79 Litres
=337.31 cents CDN per gallon
=250 cents USD per gallon
=$2.50 USD per gallon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
---------------------------
Can someone verify my ghetto math?
Assuming i'm accurate, us canadians pay WAY more than you americans do. CURSE YOU!
Today gas sits at 81 cents per litre, which is a bit more reasonable, but still higher than what americans pay on average. When it hits 89 again, i'll snap a pic with my camera just so no one raises the BS flag on me.

it came to $4.56 and i got $0.44 change from a 5,

Imagine how much $2.65 was for people in the early 70's! That'd probably be like $5 a gallon nowadays. Anyhoo, we are at $1.60 or so here in OK for 87.

i pay roughly $1.65-1.80 here in SE Minnesota/western Wisconsin. And i thought that was high.
I was told by someone that it could get up to $2.50-3.00 here in the summer. That translates to a bit more for the coasts it seems. i feel bad for you guys, yet i dont for the weather in Cali/Florida.

Yeah but I live in alberta, we're the Texas of Canada. I better get a decent price since they say we could supply north america with oil and gas, at least that is what I have heard, I don't know if I believe it. Anyways it is much more fun to bomb the middle east for cheap gas.

WOW, I was talking to someone about how high the gas prices where i live are.... I look through here and I don't feel too bad... I'm just hoping my mustang gets a bit more mileage than my ranger did.... and BTW it's around $1.94 where I live (on a 16 year old that's harsh)
