The only way that would look good is if it were an intercooler... probably a little more involved than you want to go

I bought a hatch once that the previous owner had cut down a billet grille and modified the opening to make it fit. Two seconds after the money changed hands I ripped it out and threw it in the guy's trash can.

How 'bout a new grille that you have to get a new hood for. The 79-84 and 85-86 Hood will fit right? How 'bout something like this.

I definitely like the second one better. But they're still kinda ugly...too big.

pretty much, but if you look close, you can see the opening is a BIT larger in the second. I actually like that look a lot!!!!

i think it'd look better more like this though:

Would someone please post a "real"/not-chopped pic of an LX with the center (logo) section removed? I was talking about this just yesterday, and haven't found any pics yet.

As for the billet grills on the fox:

I think DMAN302's car has the center (logo) section removed.

*goes to search for pics*

I lied but, here's a link to pics of his car anyway cause it's TO DIE FOR!

The effort is appreciated nonetheless.

And yes, it is to die for.

Ask Alan...And ye shall receive. This is a guy from my local club that has just got his car back from paint. he's mocking up the running pont and bracketry associated. Looks kinda decent in my opinion...

That looks half decent. I think it needs some black screen or mech behind the pony do you don't look in and see engine stuff and body plastic.

I'm still partial to the '93 Cobra grill, but i do kinda like the PS with the billet bars across. I don't think it can be pulled off in reality to look as good though just because of how the pony mounts on that grill. The bars would be too far forward when they need to be pulled back.

I also think the Sn95 pony is just too large for the Fox body.

Yeah the sn95 pony is large. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think the 99-04 GT/v6 pony is a little smaller, I would cut it out of the chrome trapezoid and mount it somehow.

No, no difference.

All 94-04 Pony emblems are the same. Ford has changed how they mount slightly, but the chrome pony's all carry 1994 engineering numbers on the backside. You can take the pony out of the corral style grill and put it on a 1994 if you wanted

The 05+ pony is even larger.

'93 Cobra pony is the perfect size, and it's made of metal not plastic. Someone makes a repro metal pony. I forget who though. Last time an OEM cobra pony was on Ebay it went for big $$$

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!that blue saleen or w/e it is...
IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE 5.0 EVER!!!i think this thread might have not been a wate of time after all,,,,
makdaddymac""""copies idea into fox blueprints!!!"""
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
where can i get this hood??( somply i can just take an aftermarket and cut the fiberclass up some)
then i could cut my stock front bumper open and just leave like 2inch thick pillars around the light...
but how would i finish the gap from the plastic to the hood....if i cut some piece of a hood or get a 86- hood? i'll be missing at least
2-3inches to close off the whole grille...??? i guess make some weird bondo casting????
and would you be able to use stock latches....
man im excited...

It doesn't exist. It's photoshop. You'd have to custom fab everything

I dunno. I think it looks goofy though with such a large opening. Reminds me of a cartoon car
