They are slow, and every other jacka$$ asks "what happens when you hit 88 mph" or some other lame Back To The Future joke...but at least you have something that's pretty rare. If I had the $$$, I would definitely think about it...

It's a collector car that still draws a crowd, but it's sure not a sports car with its weak Volvo V6.

It might be interesting to drop a Cobra drivetrain in one! I bet the Delorean fans would go nuts, though.

John DeLorean was way ahead of his time when he bwent out on his own and brought this car to market. A real genius when it came to cars, the world was just not ready for his car.

All in all, a pretty cool looking car, yes it's weak performance wise, but it's still a sweet car.

:Word: I don't think I've ever seen one in person. I think it would be pretty cool to own.

There's a link for more info in the original post.
The DMC-12 is powered by the PRV V6, developed jointly by Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo. The engine is derived from the Volvo B28F, fitted with a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system and modified to be mounted in reverse.

I used to like them when I was little. I supposed I would buy one if I had $15k to blow and already had all the muscle cars I could ever want.
