i just ordered mine wont ship till wed but get free next day shipping and a 180 degree thermostat for 407 with tax(damn ny state law)

I don't know anything about chips or programers. My question is do you need a chip along with this programmer? Or does the prograamer link up somewhrere and allow you to flash the computer? How difficult are these things to use? How are supposed to know what numbers to set each adjustable feature at?

Connects to the ODBII port. Already placed my order. Now I'm just hoping I'm among the 1st 20!
