I had to go to the auto parts store this morning so I figured I'd take my car out to do some tuning and see how it handled on a local backroad.
I discovered that if I shift my Tremec correctly I can smoke up my tires. My engine is making alot more power than I thought I guess. Unfortunatly my speedometer cable crapped out on me so I couldn't time any zero to sixty runs.
I also discovered just how much play there is in my steering and I don't think I'll be driving my car over 50 again until I get that sorted out. It sucks because I had this problem before and I changed my steering gear box twice last year and all my steering components were change the summer before. I probable should try to find a better gearbox than the ones they sell at Parts America.
I guess my steering is fine on smooth roads but those are few and far between here in Lubbock.
