I just did the egr delete on my 03 gt and used the kit to block off, but now it sort of cuts in and out almost like its missing when i drive. Has this happened to anyone? Did I do something wrong?

Why would you want to get rid of the EGR? It increases fuel mileage and allows the computer to lead in more timing when allowing flow. It doesn't allow any flow during WOT conditions, thus has no effect on peak power or torque. Unless you are running long tubes and can't physically make the EGR work without a lot of additional expense, then put it back on.

As for your problem... did you put silicon or any kind of gasket on the plate? Could be a vacuum leak. Or maybe you wiggled some nearby wires. Did you disable the EGR in the tune yet?

you have to turn off the egr system via tune..too much egr/not enough causes the car to buck...if you have a handheld you will need to get a tune emailed to you with the egr setting turned off...if you dont have a tuner then your car will be bucking until you get one...

my egr is gone and there is no differenc in mpgs. most people that end up loosing mpg's after the delete only loose .4mpg...never heard of anyone ever loosing anymore than that

yes sir, if you have not had the egr system turned off by a tune then you need it done. once you get it turned off then the bucking will stop.

oh and find something to cap off the vaccum hoses that lead to the egr plug in if you already havnt.
