Went to give it a oil change, and found I have 2 drain plugs. One on the front and one on the drivers side. Whats up with that.
Thanks

It is how one drains all the oil out of a humped sump. That is stock.

ACtually, I just re-read this. There are two plugs - one behind the anti-sway bar and one in the bottom of the sump.

Now a plug on the driver side was mentioned - That could be a bolt that someone installed where the low oil level sensor should be. That sensor is a little ways up the side of the sump.

Bernie - c'mon man, you gotta go easy. I really believe the only stupid question is the one not asked. And now in re-reading, and seeing the aspect of the plug on the driver side, I think it was a valid question.

86droptop ... a blower drain line will usually go high into the passenger side of the pan. It will also have sealant around the threaded insert. The low oil sensor is on the driver side of the pan and is about mid way up. I agree with Hissin, sounds like someone blocked off the low level oil sensor. Have to wonder why ... is it the original motor?

C'mon guys, this question isn't as bad as the guy in the 4.6L forums that asked what the blue light in his dash was and why the headlights were brighter when it came on

Hey, make fun of this guy.... my friend who has a 94 5.0 had his car for like 2 years, and about 6 oil changes done at home by himself before he finally called my brother and said "whats this bolt on the bottom of my engine?" Come to find out he was only draining the front sump every time. hahahahaha... then he jacked up the same car by the radiator, and called to ask why his car wasnt being lifted up.

But i wouldnt know what to do if i found a little something extra tapped into my pan...that might mean some other mods, which could have ill effects now that the blower is obviously not there.....right?...there is only one alternator.
