these this one from summit:
http://store.summitracing.com/partd...t=DRT-31384175&autoview=sku&Ntk=KeywordSearch

then there's this one from ADPerformance:
http://www.adperformance.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=69_82_104&products_id=182

it looks like they're the same block??

the differences i see are:

block material:
cast iron - summit
superior iron alloy - ADperf.

rear main seal:
2-pc - summit
1-pc - ADperf.

im not looking to justify price difference, just if they are the same block....why is one a 2pc main seal and what's the difference between cast iron and superior iron alloy? - which is "stronger"/built better?

i thought they both come from the same manufacturer?

someone please explain....

they are the same block, Superior Alloy Iron just means the composition for the casting material is stronger than say an OEM 5.0 block, and the Dart uses a 1 piece seal. BTW if you are in the market, email me

what's up with summit saying it's a 2pc rear main seal? i thought alloy means it's made up of other metals than just cast iron.

so they are two different blocks or something?

still confused
