I would like the overall dimensions for a fox radiator
hight, width, thickness
my SN95 one has a big ugly deal on top to have the radiator cap, and since i'm moving it up 3 1/4 inches due to intercooler tubing, i hit the hood, barely. I'd like to know if a fox one would work.
Thanks
Lee

Lee, what is the big ugly thing on top of your SN radiator? Mine does not have anything like that.

A lot of the SN guys are running aluminum radiators from Summit, et al. a 31" X 19" radiator can shoehorn in there.

I decided not to bother with using a fox radiator on the 94. stock SN radiator is alum with plastic tanks, and foxes have copper/brass radiators.

MU sells 2 core stock replacement radiators for 94-95's.

Good luck.

for the radiator cap. The cap actually sits about 2 inches above the radiator, whereas i believe the fox ones have the cap on the side of the tank.

what, no fox owners here care to take a tape measure to the radiator? Or do you guys all think i'm bogus and need a picture to show you what i'm talking about?

I checked an online site for OEM specs for a fox radiator and it said 24.5" X 17" X 1.25". That is for a stock 2 core fox radiator, not a HD 3 core unit (not stock, per se). NOTE: check all measurements and dimensions before purchasing or proceeding. This should give you a ball park idea though.

I am not sure I would want to go from aluminum to copper/brass, but that is just me. With forced induction, I would want an aftermarket radiator.

Good luck.

I dont think anyone thought you were bogus. Your choice of wording might leave something to be desired, but that is all.

I take it you are talking about the filler neck on the radiator (it is tall on an SN radiator).

I was afraid of that...
I think an aftermarket Fox 3 core would work pretty good though. Those dimensions fit nicely. I just have to hope that i'm close enough to where it should be to use the stock hoses... and not hit the turbo headers.

What dimensions did you find for a fox HD 3 core radiator? I posted stock 2 core specs above (3 core is a hair taller and bit thicker).

It sounds like you got it all figured out. Good luck.
