I need to find out if the two top edges on a 66 front fender are supposed to be level or if the outer edge is lower, if by how much.

The pic shows the outer edge on my car is 1/4' lower than the inner edge. (my RH fender outer edge is 1/16" lower)

The measurements are taken approx 10" back from the front of the guard in line with the hood rubber stoppers.

Can anyone tell me what the exact origional spec is? I want to set my panels right.

tks for any (informed) response.

Marshall
(Apologies to thoes who viewed my thread 'Expert advice needed' I should have shown a more descriptive title which I am attempting here.)

Here are two pictures of my fenders on a 66 coupe. Original owner car, never been wrecked, fenders have never been off. The first picture is at the forward rubber hood bumper, about 10 in. back from the front. It was level resting on both edges. The second picture is back farther, even with the shock. The outer edge is about 1/4 in. lower. Hope this helps.
