Hi all - Hope someone can clue me in.
Our '11 v6 stang went into limp mode twice and threw the P2111 code....."throttle valve stuck open".....
Doing a quick google search, seemed to indicate either a TPS or a throttle body replacement.
Seeing as the TPS was cheaper, went that route thru Rock Auto. They listed part # TH381.
Well, got the part and unless I am blind, this part does not exist on the v6.
I \pulled the TB and cleaned it and to make sure the TPS wasn't lurking elsewhere.....it wasnt.
My guess is that thie part is wrong and that the TPS is integral to the TB motor on the side of it.
Can anyone confirm one way or the other? Picture of the Rock Auto part is below....thanks all!
