Does a 90 LX have a Low Fuel Warning Light?

My 88 GT does, but i dont think my friends 90 LX has one, or a am i wrong???

my 91 lx does not
I learned the hard way by running out of gas---3 times.

Do all GT's come with Low Fuel lights? I've never seen it in my GT. Is it an option?

I bought my 1990 GT new and it doesn't have a low fuel light and it wasn't an option that I can remember.

My 89 GT does and my 90 GT doesn't. That must have been the year it changed.

Ya they changed them in 90 when they put air bags in, and modified the gauge bezel.

Sweet, thanks for the replies guys, i know my 88 GT has it because it came on not to long ago, but my friend has been riding around for a few days on E, i told him they have a light, oops, better call and tell him they dont i guess. Thanks again

Mine has no low fuel light, and the stock guage is garbage

87-89 GT's have those 4 warning lights in the bottom right of the cluster. They are LOW COOLANT, LOW WASHER FLUID, CHECK OIL and LOW FUEL.

All 87-89 Mustangs have the window but Ford only made it functional on GT's. If you have an LX and out in the little ribbon and light pod and hook up the washer fluid and coolant sensors, they will work. The only one i can't seem to make work is the LOW FUEL light. Figues since that's the one i wanted too

lx's dont have them they are just a option for the GT's but why wait for the idiot light to come on?

The car is faster with less gas in it

shouldnt ever need a dummy light, they are for dummies that run out of fuel
