I'm working on an 84 Ram I bought, to haul crap around in right now. Someone had put a 440 in it at some point, and this thing is loud. I had just gotten the manifolds on, and maybe 3 feet of just pipe on either side, when I decided to take it around the block for a quick test. Sitting at a light idling like a dragster, I actually had a guy in a SUZUKI SWIFT start revving and inching forward. If I was in the stang, and I pulled up next to my truck, I would be scared, from the way that 440 sounded. When we took off from the light, the guy in the swift covered his ears

You'll have to excuse me, I've had a few cranberry and Grey Gooses, but u have a GT with 4.30s? How's that work for ya, I had 4.10s in my GT and they really ripped, just trying to figure out what to get for my Mach, some have even suggested 4.56s.

i agree with this. out here at school, some kid with a yellow Dakota (5.2L) followed me for a mile revving his engine at me. Him and his friends were doing the "light 'em up" finger twirl... I tried to ignore him but every two seconds "VROOOOOOM" (and it didn't even sound good). What a tool

SRT-4 did the same to me in traffic. I ignored him. Seemed to piss him off more and more. I got to the point where I just turned into a parking lot so he would go away since the traffic was so heavy and I couldn't get away.

A couple of months ago there was some sort of loud import behind me at a light. Kept revving and making a whole lot of racket. The light turned green and he dumps the clutch, lets out a quick bark of the tires and trys to run up my tailpipe. I was rolling about 15MPH so I nailed it, got crossed up then spun about 30 feet through 2nd and let off. For some reason he didn't want to play anymore and wouldn't even catch up when I slowed down.

I think they tend to lose their enthusiasm when you start squalln the tires from a stop, goin sideways and are outrunning them.

Funny. Import guys haven't bothered me in a long while. Whenever I pull beside them, they just keep staring straight ahead with that poker faced look. I dunno why, I guess they figure I'm just a waste of gas

*cough* If I was next to u at a light I'd probably do the same thing, welp scratch that, I'd give a thumbs up. BTW are the KBs noticeable or are they quiet during idle?

^ KBs are stealthy. They're quiet at idle so no one would really know what I have. but I think most ppl in my area knows I have something under the hood. I post on a local car forum, so word gets around town quickly. The fat rear meats, personalized license plate, and lunar series gauges at night kinda gives an indication as well.

For your 4v mach, nothing less than 4.30's!! They will work great with your engine, due to its higher redline.

Most times I won't even play with them cause my exhaust lights up and if I don't do a beating it looks like I was trying hard but failed. My cars a sleeper but there are certain cars I don't play with on a short run... My KB is going to change the whole realm of the ones that challenge me.

They normally don't try anything when they are near me I guess that whole no cats thing kinda scares them away! Most of them just kinda give me a look when I get on it. My exhaust is loud as hell and starts screaming when I am barely on the gas, so alot of people think im trying to race. Fear the rumble!!!

Or it could be the fact they once spotted you driving with TWO hoods.

I sold my 4.10s a while back instead of puttin them in the Mach just for that reason. But Stang mods are on the back burner for now since I just bought a house.
