Has anybody deleted their EGR, have the correct tune to shut it off in the computer and PASSED smog check?

I assume it would be possible as long as you don't have visual emissions inspections. I know in PA they're suppose to get under the car and check for cats and pop the hood and make sure all of the proper emissions equipment is there. I get by without it because I drive less than 5000 miles a year so my car is exempt.

I can say this for certain because I made a real bone head move the last time I got my car inspected.

My egr pcm input is setup on a switch so I can switch between egr or wide band output to the pcm.

I forgot to turn back on the egr scalar in the pcm programming

AND

I forgot to flip the switch to have the egr output to the pcm

Passed the dyno roller annual Texas state enissions inspection with values very close to the same as those of years before when I had the egr functional

I think the biggie is the smog pump. A guy local was failing smog preaty badly and he hooked up his smog pump and passed.
