Does The K&N Drop In make any difference?

Yea... I don't have to buy paper filters any more. Other than that not really.

Throttle response seems a little better but I have not seen any better times at the track.

Dropped mine in today and noticed an immediate change for the better in trottle response off the line w/a manual 5 speed.

YMMV ~

It seemed to give it a little more pep. Plus, about a 1 mpg increase. I think the greatest benefit is not having to fill up the landfills with paper filters.

I felt a difference when I installed my drop in, the car just seems to breath better now.

The K&N debate goes on in a lot of car forums. The paper filter when new flows better but that doesn't last long. The K&N however, flows better when dirty, and lasts forever when maintained. Just don't overoil it.
