Dont Drive Drunk

Shame it took that for her to realize it..

Stupid people, I used to be stupid and do it at least once a week....I used to not let anyone else drive in my car if I was drinking, so that I felt like I was being responsible...how dumb was that...

Good news, it didn't take me to be involved in an accident, or caught by police, to realize that it's not my safety, or the safety of others in my car, that I should be worried about. There's other people on the road...January 1rst, 2002, the realization hit me, and I promised myself I wouldn't do it again. It's held up quite well, and through that time, I've watched at least a half dozen other people get nailed for it, and one guy paralyzed due to a drunk driving spree that left him in a brick wall....

how stupid some will be...

two girls i was friends with from highschool were involved in an accident this past januaray, they were bestfriends. they went to some party, got drunk and then tried to drive home... one of them never made it the driver lived (broken collar bone) and the passenger was killed on impact.

We just recently had a friend die. He went to a party, got pretty happy, and decided to leave on his bike at 3a.m. Everyone tried to prevent him from leaving, but he just took off.

He didn't show up for work the next few days, so we reported him missing. Still nothing. Five days later someone said he was found in a ditch off the freeway. He broke his back, but died of dehydration. Had he been found he may have lived.

The story was pretty big, and I am sure still on the internet somewhere. He was a Navy submariner on the USS Asheville out of San Diego - Point Loma, CA

It just doesn't make sense to drink and drive.

my theory is a drunk person is less tense because they really dont know what the hell is going on so in a wreck they kinda just go with the flow of everything else... a sober person knows whats coming and braces themselved for the impact causing them to tense up and become stiff which could cause injury.

On a side note, i was arrested last night. NOT fun.

On my birth certificate/ liscnece n stuff its Keven but I usually spelled it Kevin cause people are like "so kEeeeeeeeeeevEEEn how are you". Its prounounced Kevin, i dunno what my parents were thinking. I figure, once im taking over the world and stuff and the police try to find a paper trail of me they wont be able to because their is no Kevin Rayne. Then Keven will rule the planet and they wont even know what happened.


Anyways..... My story.

Twas the night before today.... Day was going GREAT. I succesfully pulled my engine BYMYSELF for the first time and then succesfully dumped oil all over the garage floor. Oh I also installed my new brakes and stuff before that too. Then their was a restaurant cleanup at the restaurant I work at and all the server were gonna get drunk and go. So I had a few drinks, cleaned what I had to clean nad had fun. Then the whole staff went Midnight bowling. This was the 2nd time Ive ever went bowling and my previous best was a 72. Last round of bowling I bowled a 112 so I was siked. Then we all went to a restaurant and the food was on my place of work cause they are really nice and all. PLayed some pool and won $25 and basically had fun. THEN 2 of my freinds/coworkerd met up with 2 of my other freinds and we decided to go have some fun. Now, in my town of Jupiter not too much happens unless someone is throwing a house party or something special is going on. If thats not happening well play pool or get a game of poker going or whatever. I know a bunch of people that I have been freinds with forever that do some bigtime drugs and stuff like that. Im not into the whole drug thing and crime stuff so I usually get around it by cars and/or random things. I admit I street race but we do it really safely around here. Either way I still think of it as better then Drugs/Drinking and driving/ other things my other freind are doing. As a disclaimer, I DONT live in a horrible neighborhood/ghetto, its pretty nice around here just kids these days are crazy I gues. SO we leave the restaurant and decide to yoink(steal) some golf carts from a local golf course, drive them around and stuff and thatll be that. Well we get to the golf course open the gate to the golf cart coumppound and steal 5 carts. Were ****ing hauling ass all over the place and ramming each other and ****, it was soooo much fun. I decide I want to jump this hill. Im moving along in my golf cart and then I see headlights....uh oh better turn this puppy around. Hmmmm, flashing lights, not good....**** 4 FRIGGIN COP CARS. Im zipping away(in between hauling ass and swift). Unfortunatly since I had the bright idea to jump this hill i was away from our herd of carts so 2 cops come after me. For some odd reason I thought my lil golf cart(in my defense it was a ranger one so its a lil faster then most) could out run 2 crown vics. Im like turning around trees trying to get away but it was pointless. I finally gave up after about 30 secs of my high speed chase. Now im no man to disrespect the law so from their on out it was no sir, yes sir etc so he didnt even cuff me and i hopped into the back of the vic. So were hauling ass looking for my buddys since I was a diversion for the cops and they had time to get away. They even had a canine unit there. Couldnt find my freinds so off to the police station i go. I sat in a holding cell for a couple hours ( it was 2:30 am when I got there) and they tried to make me say who the other kids were. I said I didnt know 3 of them and 1 of them I only know a lil. After a bunch of them scaring the **** out of me they finally let me go with just a misdeamer instead of the 6 misdeamer/felony charges. Dad came to pick me up, etc etc. Now my family hates me( i think) and all this **** is going on. Stuff like this really gets me down. Oh well I accept whatevers coming to me but I still dont think I did something THAT horrible. Oh well what can you do. Thats my story, hope you enjoyed the book I jsut wrote.

Thats a story you'll tell your kids and look back and laugh about.. almost like something from a movie.. but anyways, thats cool you realize what ya did is illegal and are mannin up to it.. bothers me when people break the law .. speed or what not.. then whine when they get a ticket..

well keeeeeeeeeevEEEn.. you'll probably have to sell me your rims now to help pay for a lawyer..

You drink you drive you lose

I pulled one last night after he almost hit me twice. Moron blew a .32 on pbt and a .34 on intoxilizer. Swore up and down he never would harm me. How would he know right! I have no room for drunk drivers. That was from only 3 beers around noon time (so he said)

I love to see people on tv on them cop shows talking all stupid and falling around and the cop asks "how many beers have you had" and they go "oh just one" then a few min later the cop asks again and they say like 3 and it just keeps going up then the cops are like well it turns out he's been drinking since this morning has had like 30 cases. People are so stupid you ain't gonna be like that afer 1 beer dumb ass they can tell

That whole golf cart thing is hilarious, we had some locals one time drive about 15 golf carts into the pond at the course, they got in boat loads of trouble, man that would be fun though as long as you didn't get caught. I would feel bad for the poor souls who found their carts missing next time out. Your family will get over it, that's why their family. haha
