Somebody vandalized my daughters 95 coupe, broke the drivers mirror off. I need to remove the door panel so I can disconnect the mirror remotes. Did it once before but now I can't remember how. Also, does the mirror have to be replaced as a unit. It broke off where the three plastic lugs bolt to the door. Where is the connector for the adjuster cables (wires)? Where is the best place to get a replacement? Thanks, Stan

I knocked out a deer with my driver's side door mirror about a year ago and busted the mirror into pieces. I went to Autozone and got the replacement mirror. You need to pop off the plastic bezel around the lock/window buttons are. Once you get that off, you'll notice a few screws you'll need to take out and disconnect the wiring from the locks and mirror. After that, slowly slide upward on the door panel, it may get stuck around the speaker but dont force it to do anything since the hooks are plastic and break easily (found that one out the hard way).

There is also a plastic push in type (trim) button/screw. on the inside profile of the door, near the hinges. You need to pop that out as well as what AP said about the bezel at the door handle and screws. Then just pry the door panel from the bottom and lift up.

If you are just removing the mirror you only need to remove the panel that is where the MACH 460 tweeters would be. Then there are three screws that hold the mirror in place. I don't think that you would need to remove the whole door panel.
