driver side header help????????/

I got the passenger side in with really no prob. But not even close on drivers side. If i go from the bottem it dosent fit at all. From the top it hits the brake lines..... how did you guys do it? They are mac shorties btw.

should just slide in. even with my 351w i can fit the headers in on the driverside with no fitment issues.

You could undo the motor mounts and raise the engine slightly.

hmm, everyone says the drivers side is easy to. The header hits the mastercylender bracket that holds the brake lines. Not even close to going in.

try removing your dip stick and sliding the header in from closer to the front of the engine.

i did remove the dip stick. I tried everyway i can think of but it just wont go in. Im about to give up on it. Its not even close to slidding in. The mastercylnider is what is in the way. Im so frustrated right now.
