driveshaft loop????

wehre do they go?

is there 2? if so where do they go? dose one go in back or one up front? or both? and can someone show me a pic? thans it would really help

Only 1, the mount to the undercariage behind the trans, midway on the driveshaft.

I believe it's an NHRA rule that they can be no further than 6 inches behind the tailshaft?

Within 6 inches of the front U-joint.
It's to keep the driveshaft from "pole vaulting" your car in the air in the event of front joint breakage.

I know about the loops but my question is about the mounting. Do the bolts go throught to the floor boards? Are they visible inside with cab WO carpet? Just trying tog et an idea where it mounts (with perspective of inside the cab).

The botls go right up through the floor. They end up underneath the seats, so even if you have no carpet, as long as you have seats you won't see them.

ok so under the seats. Cool. Thanks man. I do have carpet by the way. I just was intrested if they were visible or not. Thanks man.
