How much fun was it snaking them through your panhard bar? That's why I cut mine in the first place I liked the look of my Cobra rear a lot more when there where tips sticking out too.

The pipes I had were cut off the mufflers but they did get on. The only way was to remove the rear tires so you get hit that angle just right and bang! I had to do this at home and then drive to the muffle shop with them hanging.

There is a "difference". The dumps angle the exhaust gas and HEAT away from the rear end. If you get the rear end gear lube too hot to the point of boiling, you'll totally screw your rear end. That's why they make dumps.

I was thinking about dumping but I'd hate to keep getting pulled over.

Stang8UMPRT you're making it sound harder than it has to be. Just tilt (can't use the work (c)ock ) the turn downs a couple of degree's outward and you've got em blowing out away from the rear end.

Yeah, I understand that. But the question was is there any difference in putting dumps on the mufflers vs just running the mufflers straight out. Straight out, it would be aimed right at the rear end.
