Man, time flies. My oldest son just passed MEPS and is shipping out on the 9th of next month. He's now owned by the ARMY, a 14g Air Defense Battle Systems Operator. I'm glad he's made this decision. I'll miss that helper.

Thought he'd join the US Space Force....'cause that boy is a space cadet. Lol

They grow up quick.

Mine says that when he gets out in 10 to 20yrs he wants to use a VA loan to open a shop. I told him if he's in for 10 he might as well stay strapped in.

Thanks man. It's a slow process with this car but it's coming together.

Drove Dusty to the carwash today. Pretty nice getting him out. No issues at all. Went to the store, carwash, cruised around, and now he's at the current house waiting for the trip to the new house.

He really didn't need a wash but figured he'd enjoy playing in the water with some friends.

This is the previous person that was in my new house. Yes, I'm a lil'bit of a stalker. Really nice mustang convertible. Wish he was part of this forum.

I had no idea he had a mustang. No wonder the neighbors looked at me like that.

Why does stuff always happen at the wrong time ? My neighbor across the street from the old house has a fresh built 408...with Scat rotating assembly, H beam rods, and good pistons...also has a set of brand new aluminum Edelbrick heads in the box, oh....and a fresh camshaft for it...and headgasket, intake gaskets, screw in freeze plugs installed...all the bells a whistles..

All this for 3k.....I just can't do it right now. Smh.

It's absolutely killing me.

Dammit....I tried to make a decent purchase for Dusty...well...I made the purchase and then got this from Maximum Motorsports. I know it's a pandemic but this should've been announced before I placed the order from them. I did see LMR had it backordered and that's why I tried ordering direct. There won't be anything coming from china any time soon. I hope they'll give me my money back.

Talked to MM today. Great folks over there. Guy actually chased down their production manager. He said they were working on filling orders on parts like mine as they speak. Because of the back log they would be sent out in the next few weeks ( more than likely...no definite commitment ). They told me I could call and cancel the order at any time....I'll wait for a month or so. Money is already allotted so really it's just time. I wanted to take a drive out to the Shenandoah Valley...but fall is prettier out there.

They assured me that the issue is the high volume, not waiting on China. The metal supplier is backed up too ( who knows where that metal comes from ). They restored my confidence and I'm riding this out for a while.

Not a cup holder center console thingy.....I've got one of those in the car already....with a AUX jack for the radio, 12v port, and a usb that's connected to my MSPNP2. Once I get a bluetooth radio the aux port will be connected to the MS so I can listen to my knock sensor.

I've been plagued with bending the rear tie rods on my 04 IRS. They slowly bend into little smiley face smiles. The torque makes quick work of them. Right now they are neck and neck with my clutch. I can tell the transmission is going to be a contender in the battle to leave this car on the side of the road.

Here's what came in the package....

The fairy did a great job guarding it until I got home. God forbid if my son ( 13 ) would've actually opened the door and brought it inside.

Oh...and this happened today. No big issue...just had to pay a law firm a few buckaroo. ( I ain't goin'ta priz'n...just some non criminal crap ). Problem is from now for the next few months this could slowly rise to oblivion....

Hanlon Motorsports is going to hear from me next week for the tko600 and all the rest of the stuff to put in the car.

S&W will be getting a call for their roll cage. There is a chassis builder I know that I may get to build one. I want it as high and tight as possible. The 10 point cage in my convertible was ok for the street strapped into a racing seat but there's no way my bag dang head would clear it with a factory seat.

More surprises to come....

I don't need to vent....life is life, man. We can only control the controllable. My life is pretty good...spent 20 bucks on lottery scratch offs today and won 5 bucks. I'm winning man...no complaints.
