Haven't been through here in a while. The status of the car scene is really getting to me. Took Dusty out for a spin. Romped with a BMW x40i that had a nice exhaust and looked like some work done. He gave me the cheesy smile and the thumbs up at the next light. The problem is...absolutely no one paid me any mind at all. Even at the fuel station not a single soul took a second look. Cruised through the local parking lot hangouts. Got a few looks but no action. Have people forgotten what a fully built foxbody stands for ? Has society finally moved on beyond the absolute greatness of our foxbody cars ?

The sad reality is I get way more compliments on something bought for 1300 bucks. A car that I purchased to run around in town and perform track push and pull functions. A glorified golf cart that has turned into my DD. I get smiles and thumbs up all day long on 95 running 76mph. People chat at every fuel station and parking lot I pull into.

Here is my DD...

What the hell is the car culture turning into ? Smh

Here is Dusty back chillin' in the garage. Finally about to order the quarter windows and a few other things for the interior. It'll be nice to get back in the groove. I had a serious medical issue and was down for the count for a while. I'm back up and getting back in the swing of things.

I've missed so much here.

I live in an ever increasing congested area. I wish I could go for a drive and nobody see or hear me. Then I could have some real fun

I hope you recover well. Medical stuff is no joke. I was very close to a very serious stroke. I was litterally a cough away from being dead. Procedures were nothing like what you have and are going through. I couldn't even imagine. Life threatening stuff makes you kinda look at life a little different.

First of all they wave at you driving that go-cart disguised as a car because they either think you're really brave or think 8 circus clowns are gonna get out.

I'd have to find out how many of my friends I can fit inside, ahhh, I don't have enough friends I'll have to use hookers or cheerleaders, then pull up in front of a Denny's or Waffle House
Gotta have some fun with that ride.

Popped my damn hood release cable today. Now, I've got to dig through my parts crates for my extras.
