on my buddies 99 M3

anyways stock the lil ol 3.2 I6 made 205/225, added a dinan vortech supercharger(6.5-7.5 psi) and a corsa catback.

spun the rollers today for 300/260 on the same dyno he used before with very similar weather.

the S52 engine runs 10.8:1 compression, low boost, 91 octane, no knock retard. i am impressed.

GOD I love da M's....buddy had a 97? sedan and that really got me turned on to them. sounds good bet its one FUN car.

Since your a bimmer tech I have a question?

I have not fallowed the new BMW line up too close (althought I hear they are bringing a factory turbo out soon if not already to the states). With the new number setup even being 2door and odd being 4door (IIRC thats how it is now) will an M3 be avail. in a sedan again then?

Saw a new 6 series on break last week and man that thing is sex.

the new M3 will be available in sedan eventually. we haven't even got a coupe yet. the new turbo cars are awsome---its called the 335 and can be had in coupe/sedan/hardtop vert.

6 series are awsome--specially the new M6--500hp 8400rpm 7spd trans

therian: he got the blower kit when dinan was offering an employee special. he got it for the same price you would pay for a vortech on our cars---his catback cost him $1k but imo is well worth the money, he has what many people who hear it say is the best sounding car they have ever heard. i think it sounds better than a ferrari V8. redline is 7k.
