I've seen a few good prices on lowering springs on ebay an was wondering if any one tried them. They are "zenn" an "canuck" brand names. After reading some people had eibach's sag on them I'm thinking I might take a chance on these. Thanks.

I say give them a try. A while back when i had my old 94 i was skeptical about a 65$ short throw shifter i saw on ebay, I ended up buying it and was just as pleased with it as my 250$ MGW on my 99....

Moral of the story, just because its cheap doesn't necessarily mean its junk...

the car has lowering springs now but it bottoms out easily. i looked at them to see what brand they were an it said "mustangs unlimited" on them. they may have sagged a little since the h pipe scrapes so easily.

Dont waste your money. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. If you are trying to save a little cash buy some used H&R springs or similar.

I'm sure you can also buy some used stock springs for cheap too.

This is a good point, but I would spend a bit extra, myself, and get some HR's.

cool, thanks for the input. the canuk website says they man their springs in canada an supplied eibach their springs. I'll keep an eye peeled for a set of used hr's but i'm tempted by the canuk's.

i'm leaning toward the used h&r or canucks. I found a set of used h&r's but they're the race springs. sound pretty firm an not as much drop so I may pass. I'm still kicking it around.

Man honestly, id rather have a new pair of springs whether they be canucks or whatever brand than a used pair of springs. The used springs could be sagging or something, you never know why that person is selling them. Try the canucks!!! Or go with a set of the frpps or tokicos if you want a more well name brand without spending too much...

sweet ride! now you got me thinkin bout the h&r's. the guy is converting over to a drag set up an says he's been working on the car for a long time so the springs don't have many miles on them an a lot of that time is on jack stands.

I have Roush springs in my car.

The drop isn't big because of the Roush's ground effects, but here's how they look on the car:

that's a nice lookin ride! Lowered white cars kick a$$ (my cobra is white). I want to raise it a little because it bottoms out all the time, even just from dips in the road at speed. I measured the distance from the wheel arch to the ground an its 26.5" front an 26.75" rear.

Thanks man...

It's love or hate with a white car to me. I get tired of mine sometimes but it helps big time when someone says that they like it.

Mine is as low as I want it. I have adjustable lower control arms so I can fit my drag radials (28", overkill until the nawzzizzle is hooked up) on with the Roush springs, but I don't drop the rear real low.

I'd love to slam it on coilovers with 18's (Saleens, FR-500's), but don't want to get into CC plates and the roads around here aren't lowered car friendly for the most part.

I scrape my X-pipe in certain spots, but it's not too bad how it is...

Your Cobra looks very nice man, super clean... It sits awesome, but I hear you about bringing it up a little it.
