My rear control arm bushings are pretty beat. and i have a ton of wheel hop. While searching ebay came across these control arms for 95$ or best offer. Tubed, powdercoated, and greasable bushings...Do I order some? Was gonna offer 50 and see what he comes back with. I dont drag race, its just a fun cruiser.

Honestly, suspension and or brakes is one place I wouldn't skimp. Everyone has their own opinion, but I wouldn't touch those. Buy a cheap throttle body- you're just limiting power/efficiency, buy a cheap stereo system- it wont sound as good as it could, buy cheap suspension- that could be tragic. I didn't even see a brand name on those or a warranty

That's exactly the set that broke on my friends SCCA road car. He skimped on upper / lower control arms. Our day was cut short after some strong laps. His car was on a trailer (pretty embarrassing). We then installed Steeda adjustable uppers and Steeda lowers. Never had a problem again, he still races it. Pass, Pass quickly on these. You get what you pay for.

I thought the MACs were rectangular, not tubular, but I could be wrong.

I do agree that I wouldn't skimp on suspension though.

You could very well be right. I made my assumption based on the red colour. I can't think of anyone else that sells red control arms, but I guess they could be made by anybody really.
