Does anyone have any info on this car?

It is a bit of a strange one. The only items that really appear to have only 3900 miles on them are the front seats.

Other items.
wrong rear decklid decal.
Vortech on N/A car.
Overspray on undercarraige.
Unless the owner just left that car outside uncovered for a few years there is no way a 3900 mile car would have yellowed headlamps.
I know the guy tries to explain a couple of items like the speedster cover and the blower but...

I just saw the car. It has alot of add ons for a low mile car. It also has the blue Vortech fuel rails. Should it have the door inserts painted white also?

It looks like it may have had the '97 upgrade done to it. I knew a guy who had a N/A '94 Spyder (#94-044) that he sent to Saleen to have the R-code '97 upgrade done to it. The upgrade may have included the Vortech fuel rails (my '95 also has the upgrade and it too sports the blue Vortech fuel rails). As for the door inserts, I believe those started with the SR models in '94-'95 and then became standard on all S351s in '96. Neither one of my '95s have colored door inserts.

I agree with George, it could have the 97 upgrade from Saleen.
I think you should buy it George, that way you have back to back numbers 95-91 and 95-92. Also have a speedster as opposed to your two coupes and the "best color" added to your collection

That car was not a factory SC car.It is not a 97 upgrade car ,Saleen only upgraded some Factory car's. Plus look at the pass side inner fender and you will see the FMU. The upgrade cars did not have FMU's

That's right. My '95 no longer has the FMU on it.

Having "back-to-back" numbered cars does sound appealing.

Good eye Mark. I missed the FMU, and yes Mark is correct. If the car has an FMU then it does not have the fix/upgrade. No boost retard either.

The car overall still looks a bit fishy to me. Those headlights look too old.

What's up with the Cobra brakes? I thought all the S351's had the ALCON's? The overspray on the undercarriage also worries me a bit. Must have wrecked it in those 3900 miles. Sounds fishy to me guys...

The car came from Saleen with stock GT brakes. Probably upgraded to the Cobra brakes when the other upgrades were done. It has gone higher than I thought it would!

The seller has lowered the reserve price. Yet it has a "buy it now" price of $42,000 No way. I wouldn't pay that much even if it was an original R-code car.

Considering the cars condition and the fact that it isn't a R-code car it is worth in the low $30,000 range at most.
