you gotta remove the dizzy and pull the shaft out. some guys have had real problems with getting stuff to line back up upon reassembly, while others smoke right through it.
myself, will probably go with a new or reman'd dizzy when the time comes.
there are some nice threads on the topic of how to do it, should responses on this thread be lacking or you feel like reading some more.
hissin's right.it's easier to just get a reman. dis. assembly and put it back in.it'll save alot of time and you'll probably not be saving that much money anyway.
