EGR TUBE TO SHORT HELP??????

i just put my trick flow upper and lower on and now the egr tube is to short what are you guys doing to make it fit ??????

I did the same thing when my TFS was installed...lol I fabbed on up using another one, welded together and then grinded and painted...

easier fix is to contact 50 resto....I think they have one....I know someone makes them to length for our TFS's....

+1 for custom fab or 5.0 resto sells an extender

you stuck a piece of tubing in there and welded it i was thinking mabey i could some kind of an adaptor from auto part store ????

Yes, 5.0restoration sells the adapter.

will high temp silacone hose work ?>???????put in the middle for extraa lenthi only need half inch

I have an extra extension that screws into the the end of the tube to get you an extra inch. Send me a PM with your address and Ill send it to you. I deleted my EGR and no longer need it.

If you use the 1 inch extender that Nick is offering you, that will be all you need I think

I think he wants something that will work for now so he can drive his Stang until 95BlueStallion's extender gets to him.

howiefisher, don't hack up your current EGR tube, you'll need it when 95BlueStallion's extender arrives. The exhaust manifolds and the exhaust at that point get really hot, high heat tubing might last for a short bit if it can handle the heat. If you're willing to spend the money on the tubing, try it. If it has enough resistance it might last as a temporary fix.

this is a stupid problem i cant believe that trick flow does not give me the adaptor ..i bought the kit cheap assssss nor do they mention that i will need one in the directions on the install for the 1994/1995

Been there done that.......I didn't know I needed the adaptor for the intake to clear....oops.....don't get too upset....Mike and others had this kit well before most of us and you get get all your answers and necessities from here........
