Okay folks. You can ignore the mods in my sig except for my exhaust and gears, that engine is gone... SO I like power! And well those E7's just didn't put out know what I mean. And I really don't wana have to rip apart the bottom end just now. Meaning no flycutting pistons. I've been looking at te TFS TW 170s 61cc CC. I like those a lot! Now what kind of intake manifold do you guys recomend to go with those? The TFS streetburner or like an Eddy Victor Jr. or something? The guys at TFS said to use a 190lph fuel pump and 24lb injectors, I thought 30's might suit better?? (Sidenote, do injectors "last" not being used but on a shelf to be used later?)
What size TB do I use at this point? Now an important question what cam? I want to make the most power, specifically torque is what i like . How big can I go without CC my pistons? Any off the shelf recomendatilons?
Now to tie it all together I like the looks of the Moates Quarterhorse. And of course some RR's. What kind of power at the WHEELS are you guys thinking with what combos you recomend?

Also TFS has the "streetburner" top end kits they say something like 370 ft lbs of torque on a fresh 306. I assume at the flywheel... Would this just be my best bet? I hate buying "kits" when I can squeeze more power out of mixing manufacture-ers or what have you, know what I mean?
That was a long post but I would like to do this once I'm much younger than most of you folks, and poorer, and not as wiser... hehe I need your wisdom stangnet

Oh and yes I am only 16 and on my 5th car (all fords though!) But the stang is most definately my favorite. And all of those cars I have rebuilt redone and restored just about all areas! The first one, two, okay maybe three were lots learned the hard way... But am confident and always wanting to learn more that is why I ask guys, I want to learn!

Why not just buy the trick flow top end kit, has everything you need in one package.

The TFS kit would be a good way to go since it comes so complete, you'll also need the 95 style elbow on that 95 unless you convert over to the fox style TB.

I can order the kits special (Im a Trick Flow Dealer) and swap out some components, I'd go Track Heat Upper intake, and a different cam personally. The 24# inj and aftermarket MAF will be perfect, you could do 30# if you plan on more mods or a stroker in the future.

TFS claims 360BHP/350TQ on the kit, which is close to 300RWHP. I can tell you I've put that kit on a 331 with 8.5:1 compression and tuned it to 340RWHP on a chassis dyno.

If I can help let me know

Doing the trick flow kit makes it easy, and ensures compatibility. I ran the TF TW heads with the Holley Systemax intake for many years, though it required a slight cut on the head ports to line them up with the intake. 24 pound injectors are fine, and 65mm thottle body works best with a 306 unless you're going to turn a lot of RPM. If you're after torque, you don't want a lot of duration in your cam, with an upper limit of 230 degrees at .050 lift.
