Anyone have a ballpark guess as to a fair price for clutch replacement?
Labor only.. Flywheel is new and I have the whole clutch kit.

$300-$350 + turn flywheel (Unless you are replacing it too).

OK.
I paid 300 for replacement and flywheel resurface. Just checking to see if I got ripped off.
I tried to do it myself but the dang Hpipe bolts wont come out even after heating the crap out of them...So the tranny had to be brought out on end to work around it..With jackstands I just couldnt get the clearance needed to bring it out on end.

Hey, on the topic of clutches, what do you guys recommend for a high-perf application?

hmmm..... im not sure if this is a serious question or if someone is cooking up some 'potroast sarcasm' but i shall shed some dim light anyway:

king cobra: great HD clutch but very affirmitive grip point
Spec: hold well but tend to chatter like a set of wind up dentures
Centerforce: pricey but highly recommended as they last and perform like Ms. Jenna Jameson herself

No, it was quite serious. On another board, there has been some serious slamming of the King Cobra. Most sound like some serious quality control issues. One clutch will hold up, the next is a POS. Spec or Centerforce sounds like the way to go then. I am trying to figure out whether mine is slipping. There seems to be some lag after shifts which leads me to believe my clutch may be short lived.
