Are you all running chambered mufflers? I am running a Dr Gas X w/ Straight through mufflers and it doesn't pop.

Passenger side next to A/C canister and passenger side valve cover

Or, just delete your smog... it doesn't do a whole lot of anything since ya ain't got cats, well, other than take up weight and suck some power...
Now, do you really want that?
And don't go for those dumb elimination kits, just get a shorter belt. In fact, get one to eliminate your A/C too, for the weekends anyways.

if i didn't live in such a blazing hot area, i'd delete my a/c. granted it's not working right now, but you can tell the car runs a lot better when it's off (obviously).
