Sounds like crap thru computer speakers. Sounds actually decent through headphones hooked up to the computer.

Yes the car is on @ the start of the video. My idle is just piss quiet. So quiet you can hear my fuel pump whining @ the end of the second video

It sounds about as good as a stock mustang will.

we have already discussed this, AND, spintechs are nice and quiet at idle.

Dont start buying a bunch of different exhausts, address the real issue

Buy the trick flow HCI kit or the edelbrock Kit and call it a day.

whatever you do, dont ever go turbo.

' Trust me. Your knowledge has taught me a lot of things about my problem (some wouldn't call it a problem) I been dumping money in exhaust since 2006 on my 4.6L GT and always had the same problem. Both cars was bone stock engine

now do you have the sportsman or the super pro street? The super pro street will give you the loudest and best sounding combo when it is all sai and done.

The loudest good bolton 99-04 GT I ever heard had Long tubes, x and super pro streets.

obviously SLP is loud, but it sounds like no muffler.

try dumping the exhaust after the muffler for a while. Just make sure you can afford to haev it rewelded if/when you get tired. I think having a convertible, you wont have the drive you crazy resonance at 1800-2100 rpm that hard tops have but I am not sure.

take video

my car sounded sooo bad with stock heads, e303 and dumped spintechs.

One second. You had a stock motor with e303 cams. Didn't you loose power because of that? Everything and everywhere i read was against just changing the cams on a stock motor.

Just wondering.

you wont lose power with the proper mods. You wont gain any average power really because you will lose some mid range and about 10 lbs of torque. Average power is all that matters.

so you will sound better, but you wont really be faster or slower. my car dynoed 246/290 with ecam and boltons when I first put it together and ran 13.4 at 101-2. Then later with tuning (more timing and FP and losing weight it got quite a bit faster, so who knows where it was power wise. Probably in the 255ish range. best mph was 106.33. The car had very very good topend. I was gaining as much as 25 mph on the second half of the track.
