Trick flow upper and lower street heat, 70 mm t body and egr spacer, 73 mm mass air flow sensor, k and N filter, ported and polished GT40 iron heads not the p's, crane springs, 24 lb injectors, adjustable regulator, equal length headers, h pipe, msd 6al box, cap, rotor, and wires, flex fan, 3.55 gears, traction bars, subframe connectors, upper and lower strut tower brace on the front. It runs great, sometimes I get a lean pop through the intake but it goes away fast. The car only ran 14 seconda 60 ft times were 2.1's on hooshier quick time pro's. But it pulls hard and feels good. I think it is the cam. When I put the heads on I only got 2. tenths from 14.2 to 14 seconds.
please help

My friend ran the F303 cam, with Ported/5angle valve job/bowl work/milled GT40 heads and cobra intake with 4.10 and he ran a 12.7 on drag radials. I don't think it is too big but that is just my opinion

Are you sure its a lean pop? your running 24's and your combo isnt big enough for 30's, sounds like you are running rich to me

What else would pop through he intake maifold? It does it at low rpm's if I put it to the floor past 3000 it clears out. The car should run a lot faster.

If you are getting any kind of pop in the intake, that means something is off in your valve timing. That "pop" is the air/fuel charge igniteing in the intake. To have that happen a valve could be hung up and not closing right or the firing order could be hooked up wrong, or it may have some other problem.

No matter what, you have ignition happening where it isn't supposed to be happening.
