Just found this abortion on e-bay was wondering if it was a fake or not. If it is a real Saleen this guy needs to be shot.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320269736802&category=6236&adgroup_id=14628316889515616148&creative_id=1090064957881098931&keyword=ford+mustang+saleen&origin=http%3A%2F%2Fforums.stangnet.com%2F&vertical=%7B%7D&target=Gadget_KW

Just found it read second sentence saying it is a replica.

Auction says "replica," though it's not really obvious.

VIN doesn't match #98-101 from the Saleen Book.

Might be worth picking up as a "conversation piece."

Oh, and the VIN plate on the firewall is clearly faked -- one reason why it's bad to have those floating around, since most people don't know how a real one is stamped (and unfortunately some do, and pass these off to unsuspecting buyers as real Saleens).

Thanks for the typo -corrected

What got me going was the vin tag also it is not correct for the year. 98 still said handcrafted by saleen not manufactured and of course how he die stamped it.

Replica or not (& the reference is buried in the description), I say we shoot him anyway.
