I had a great time this last weekend. Spent Friday - Sunday in the Coos Bay/North Bend area riding with my buddies.

We usually have a good turn out but this time there were about 75 people in our group.

There were two sweet ass sand rails there with us. One of them has a Cadillac Northstar motor. This thing was sweet. I enjoyed driving it. Very nice low-end grunt. It would be wicked with a couple of turbos.

The other rail was ****ing insane. Single seater that weighs 900 pounds and has a built turbo charged GSXR-1100. He was running 25psi. This thing scared the **** out of me. Freaking insane. The world around you becomes a blur really fast. When it hits the boost, it feels kinda like a two stroke hitting the pipe. After driving it, I felt like hitting the pipe.

Here some pics and a few vids from the trip.

I like Winchester. The dunes are much taller. But Horsfall, Spinreel and Hauser cover a hell of a lot more area. Much more room to ride and there's access to the beach. Horsfall is the campground just north of North Bend.

I sold my 400EX a couple of years ago. So, I have to beg rides from my buddies. I spent a bunch of quality time on Quadzilla. I also rode a built 80HP Banshee and drove both the Caddy and the GSXR rails.

I have a hankering for another quad. Right now, I'm leaning toward an '06 TRX450 with the HRC kit and a 13.1 piston. The new Raptor is right next to the Honda on my list. Having to buy a tuner to tweak the fuel injection is kinda spendy. After spending the weekend on the LT500 I wouldn’t mind finding one of those and rebuilding it. The Raptor and TRX would be much better at Browns Camp though.

cool... I'll have to plan a trip down there... I dont know if you've considered it , but the 06 yfz 450 is one bad quad... I love mine... if I'm ever at sandlake or something and your down for a ride I'll let you take her for a spin.

we should have like a stangnet trip lol
